Adapter M16 x 1/8 NPTF

this adapter is the same thread as a standard sump plug and allows you to use a small 1/8 NPTF temperature sensor as a sump plug sender. The adapter has been modified to allow a little more room for oil to circulate round the sensor and works well with the senders in the gauges we supply but if using your own sensor you should check this clearance to ensure proper operation of the sender.

The adapter may also be used to mount the sender in the rocker using kit 78342B shown below.

Rocker cover kit for 78342

this kit is used with the M16 adapter to allow standard 1/8 NPTF temperature sensors be fitted into the rocker cover. The kit contains an M16 locknut a dowty washer and a plain washer.

This is a new method of mounting and we don't have much feedback from using the sender in this way as yet so if you would like to try one out let us know.
