M28/1 Dyno Run

Presented below is the power curve of a standard 2CV provided by John Birrell. The car has a 123 igntion fitted and a Harley coil.

John would like to be able to keep up with modern traffic a little better and has plans to modify his car for more power. As a student, John does not have too much money and (I am sure he won't mind me saying) isn't a master mechanic either.

In short, he is very much like the rest of us and his experiences should be of interest to us all. Once the better weather is here a set of 9.0CR pistons, perhaps a top end freshen up, and maybe even a blowing kit are on the cards. Once completed another trip to the dyno will be undertaken to gauge the results.
